Bio: Jeanne’s
first career was as a special education teacher in Michigan.
After moving to San Diego in 1973, she completed accounting
and business classes at the graduate level at San Diego State
University. Three years of accounting experience with a large
international firm convinced her that she wanted to work
in a smaller practice, more conducive to personal service
and care.
Jeanne has integrated her teaching experience
into her accounting career by teaching accounting seminars
for SCORE (SBA workshops). She is a member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California
Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tax Division
of the AICPA.
Outside of work, Jeanne enjoys reading
and browsing antique stores. She belongs to a fitness
group, with a goal of participating annually in the Carlsbad
half-marathon.
Jeanne’s daughter is a graduate student
in San Francisco working in the field of international education.
Her son is a college student in San Diego. |
